Mark S. Herceg, PH.D. Dr. Mark Herceg received his doctoral degree in Clinical Health Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. He completed his internship and postdoctoral training in Neuropsychology at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, NYU Medical Center. Dr. Herceg was awarded an National Institutes of Health fellowship at NYU Medical Center as a graduate assistant while researching stroke outcome studies. He has held teaching posts at New York University and Mercy College. Dr. Herceg was on staff at NYU Medical Center for seven years before joining Neuropsychology Consultants, LLC in November 2003. Dr. Herceg has presented abroad to European medical groups and physicians on rehabilitation of stroke and brain injury as well as on the neuropsychological differences between left and right brain damage. In addition, he has conducted a seminar to post graduate medical students at the Split University Medical School in Croatia on brain injury rehabilitation in the United States. Dr. Herceg’s expertise is in cognitive rehabilitation, neurofeedback and psychotherapy of brain injury, stroke, Lyme Disease, and other neurological conditions such as dementia. He is fluent in Croatian. He is licensed in both Connecticut and New York states.
